台北の直前，コンビニで休憩していると，バイクに乗る老人（と言っては失礼だが）と話になった。聞けば両親が日本にゆかりがあり，父親は満州と日本にいたという。日本語はほとんど忘れてしまったというが，わずかな時間に彼の人生を凝縮して語ってくれた。台北への道を聞き再び走り出す。郊外はベッドタウンになっているようだった。＠109号線，台北へ Just before arriving at Taipei, I took a break at a convenience store and told with the old man (though it is rude...), who rode a moto .
