博物舘の北には，台湾で19世紀末〜20世紀初期の頃に使われた蒸気機関車が保存されている。片倉佳史氏の書籍(「台湾に生きている「日本」」，2009年版)に「案内板の記述に間違いがある」とあったが，修正されているように見えた。＠台北 At the north of the museum, steam locomotives used in later 19th 〜 early 20th century in Taiwan, were preserved and displayed.
