近くに河合し太郎("し"は金へんに市)の碑があった。1902年から台湾で林業開発に携わり,阿里山鉄道の計画にも関わったという。自分の地元の出身だが台湾のことを本で少し読むまでは知らなかった。裏面は漢文,台湾の人も(が)読むことができるだろう。@阿里山
There was a monument of Shitaro Kawai. Since 1902, he had joined forestry development in Taiwan, and also took part in the planning of the Alishan Railway. He was born in my local prefecture, but didn't know until I read him in a book of Taiwan. Because the back side is written in a Chinese script, of course Taiwanese can read it...@Alishan.
